If at any point during your interaction with ServiceJockey.com we require access to your personal data outside of our normal course of connecting you with local service professionals, we will ask you for your permission and fully disclose our intentions. Is my information safe? Absolutely. We believe your information belongs to YOU; therefore our site is encrypted and all servers are stored within the United States. Your information will only be shared when you submit a Quote Request. What information do I need to provide? *Home address - This will be verified to maintain the integrity of ServiceJockey.com. Our loyal service providers need to receive accurate information. We know you will love the site, but there is a limit of one account per household. *Phone number - Your verified telephone number will be awarded to the four winning companies. Keep your phone close by, because they will be calling to offer you a great quote! *Email address - Service providers may want to provide a quote via email. You will also receive an email from us when your auction is approved and when commissions are paid to you. Cha ching! I’m ready for my first Quote Request, where do I go?
1. Simply go to the home page and fill out the gray box that says “Start Here…” 2. Select the category of service from the drop down menu 3. Review the “Terms of Use”, checking the box indicates your agreement 4. Click “Get Quote” 5. Answer the questionnaire as accurately as possible 6. Click “Submit” 7. Your quote request will be reviewed by ServiceJockey.com customer support for approval. Once approved, businesses will be notified. That sounds easy enough, but how long until I receive quotes to consider? You should begin to recieve calls within the first 24 hours. Service providers are notified of new quote requests via text message and email as they are submitted to ServiceJockey.com and we expect they will be prepared to contact you quickly. How do I follow my Quote Request to see which companies are willing to pay to provide me with a quote? Login to your ServiceJockey.com account and click on “My Quote Requests” to find out the number of times your quote request has been viewed and how much companies are willing to pay. You can view details for “Running Quotes” or open quotes receiving bids, for “Closed Quotes” or quotes that are no longer open for bidding, and for “Completed Quotes” or quotes where all questionnaires are complete and will be earning you Cash Rewards. My Quote Request is closed, what happens next? You’re one step closer to pocketing some extra cash! The four service professionals who purchased your quote request will contact you and offer a competitive quote. While you’re waiting for them to call check out their profile pages to learn about their general information, licenses, insurance, ratings and reviews. I received great quotes from the service providers, what do I do now? Do a happy dance - go ahead we won’t tell anyone! Not only will you be receiving a quality service at a great price, you will also be receiving some cash from us! Choose your provider and proceed with business as usual, including notifying the providers you choose not to work with. You’ve earned your rewards, so go get them! Be sure to login to your ServiceJockey.com account, click on “My Quote Requests” and select “Closed Quotes” from the drop down menu on this page. Choose “Rate this Seller” and complete a quick 5 question questionnaire for each of the providers who provided you with a quote. Once completed, your rewards will be approved and the check will be in the mail! I’ve completed the questionnaires on my closed quote requests, so how do I get my money? You have earned your rewards once the questionnaires are complete (see the FAQ above if you have not completed them). We will approve your rewards, cut you a check and send it to the address registered in your account. Yes we know a check in the mail may seem a little old fashioned, so we are working on Paypal deposits as well. We will be sure to let you know once Paypal is an option. What happens if I do not purchase the service from one of the service providers? At Service Jockey we understand there will be times you choose not to use one of the service providers for any number of reasons. Maybe you changed your mind about the home improvement project, the insurance quote isn’t competitive enough for your liking or you can’t afford the service at this time. Please inform the service providers that you are no longer interested and complete the short survey on the top four bidders in order to receive your rewards. Quote Requests can be flagged as invalid by the businesses. If your quote request is flagged as invalid Service Jockey will investigate. If we deem there was never any intent on purchasing the service you will not be eligible for your cash rewards. What does the “Reliability Rating” and “Consumer Experience Rating” mean to me? Reliability Rating: This shows companies that you mean business! It will show the number of auctions you have created and the number of services you have purchased. Companies are willing to pay more for the information of customers with higher “Reliability Ratings”, which means you’ll pocket more rewards just for following through! Consumer Experience Rating: This rating is another way to make your information more valuable. After each auction the top bidders that contacted you will complete a short survey regarding their experience with you. This feedback is available for viewing by businesses prior to bidding on your information.
